Amsterdam based alternative rock band The Great Emu War Casualties have recorded various tracks in the lead vocalist’s flat in Liverpool, the first four of which are on their EP It Is Not Fun, It’s Not a Hat.
Four piece The Great Emu War Casualties have already attracted the attention of music bloggers and the press for their unusual, quirky and poetic songs, sprinkled with their own brand of the absurd.
Tracks such as There is a God and His Name is Mark Sugar-Mountain are about the end of a relationship and The Rip Off is about a pessimist’s look at changes in the 21st Century, blaming it on all the usual things.
It Is Not Fun, It’s Not a Hat can be bought on iTunes and other digital music sales and more information about the band, including links to reviews is on our Rock and Blues page.
